Supplier selection
Choose a filament supplier on useful evidence.
Compare the business behind the offer, the exact product and the response to your sample request. Keep the technical and commercial decisions connected.

Know who is supplying the material
Check the business identity, responsible contact and role in the supply path. A manufacturer, distributor and service provider can support different parts of a project; the written proposal should make that role clear.
Compare the same product scope
Give each candidate the same material, color, spool, quantity and destination requirements. Ask for documents that name the exact grade and relevant market, rather than accepting a certificate with a similar family name.
Make the sample useful
Use a representative part and printer setup. Record appearance, fit and any behavior important to the application. A successful decorative print does not resolve a load, heat or contact requirement.
Read the commercial response
Keep sample policy, minimum quantity, packaging, price, timing and shipment terms beside the technical result. Compare what is included and what remains open, not just the headline price.
Leave a clear decision trail
Retain the supplier identity, sample result, documents and accepted configuration. Revisit the affected decision when the entity, grade, market or commercial scope changes.
