Define the starting point
Define the printer model, material path, nozzle and operating environment. Include any spool-holder or feeder dimensions that restrict the selection.
Build the product request
Choose candidate grades for the representative print. Keep the grade, spool format and profile linked so a change in one cannot hide a different test setup.
Review the sample
Run the same part and evaluation method for each sample. Record feed behavior, print appearance and the conditions used to judge the result.
Keep the repeat-order reference
Keep the accepted sample, settings and product identification with the printer program. A change in the setup needs its own review.
