Novtau business inquiries

Privacy policy

How Novtau handles information provided through the filament catalog and business inquiry routes.

The responsible entity is 惠州市诺拓科技有限公司 at 中国广东省惠州市惠阳区迎宾路22号7楼, with privacy contact sales@novtau.com. These website terms and privacy rules take effect on 2026-09-04.

Scope

This policy explains how information is handled when a visitor uses the Novtau filament catalog or submits a B2B quote, sample, technical, distributor, OEM, or private-label inquiry. It covers purchasing teams, distributors, printer manufacturers, print farms, service bureaus, laboratories, enterprise technical teams, and other business contacts using these routes.

The inquiry routes do not provide an online account, shopping cart, checkout, online payment, or automatic order acceptance. Information connected with a later commercial relationship may also be governed by the applicable project and transaction records.

Information collected

Depending on what a visitor chooses to submit, inquiry information may include:

  • Name, company, work email, telephone number, country, role, and buyer type.
  • Selected material, grade, color, quantity, printer, application, destination, timing, and project notes.
  • OEM or private-label requirements for spool, label, barcode, carton, packaging, artwork, and documents.
  • Messages, quotation or sample discussions, specification comments, approval records, and follow-up history.
  • Files, file metadata, and security-check records when an upload control is available and used.

Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, unnecessary identity documents, sensitive personal information unrelated to the inquiry, or material you are not authorized to share.

How information is used

Information is used to receive, route, and respond to an inquiry; identify the requester; assess material, application, sample, technical, private-label, packaging, documentation, and supply requirements; and maintain the related business communication.

If a project proceeds, relevant information may be used to prepare and administer quotations, samples, specifications, artwork review, approvals, production, packaging, logistics, accounting, claims, repeat supply, and other agreed project records. Technical information may also be used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and to meet applicable legal requirements.

The lawful basis depends on the activity and applicable law and may include steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate business or security interests, consent, or a legal obligation.

Browser, device, and local data

Hosting, security, and analytics services may process technical data such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, request identifiers, and security or error logs. Optional analytics is handled according to the available privacy choice and applicable consent requirements.

The Inquiry List and unfinished form entries may be stored in the visitor's browser so they can be recovered on the same device. They are not submitted as an inquiry until the visitor sends the form. Clearing browser data, blocking necessary storage, or changing devices may remove that local information.

Uploaded files and security

When file upload is enabled, Novtau may process the selected file, file name, type, size, upload time, scan result, access record, and related project context. Files may be subject to type and size checks, malware screening, quarantine, access controls, or rejection before review.

Administrative and technical controls are used according to the service and project context, but no internet transmission or storage service can guarantee absolute security. A public form is not the appropriate channel for highly sensitive information unless a suitable project channel and handling process have been agreed first.

Service providers and disclosures

Information may be processed by providers supporting website hosting, form protection, email delivery, data storage, file security, analytics, technical review, project administration, and document handling. If a project proceeds, relevant information may also be shared with participants needed for approved material review, samples, packaging, logistics, accounting, testing requested for the project, or professional advice.

Access should be limited to the purpose relevant to the recipient. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, valid legal process, security protection, investigation of misuse, or a business reorganization subject to the required handling. Specific provider names and roles depend on the production configuration and will be confirmed through the independent legal review.

International processing

The inquiry routes may receive requests from business contacts in different countries. Hosting, email, storage, security, analytics, and project participants may process information outside the country where the requester is located. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguard, the relevant mechanism or safeguard must be used for that processing.

Retention

Inquiry and project records are retained according to the purpose of the request, the status of any business relationship, security and provider settings, accounting or compliance needs, claims, and applicable legal obligations. Files and file-security records follow the applicable project and provider settings.

No universal retention period is stated on this page because different records require different treatment. Data should be deleted, de-linked, or anonymized when it is no longer needed for an applicable purpose, unless a legal, security, transaction, or claim-related reason requires continued retention.

Your rights and choices

Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before it and does not prevent processing based on another lawful basis.

To make a request, email sales@novtau.com and identify the inquiry or record involved. Novtau may request information reasonably needed to verify the requester and locate the record. Some information may need to be retained when an applicable legal obligation, security need, transaction, or claim requires it.

Complaints and security incidents

Privacy questions, complaints, suspected misuse, incorrect disclosure, or security-incident reports can be sent to sales@novtau.com. Provide enough information to identify the inquiry without sending additional sensitive material through an unsecured channel.

Where applicable law provides the right, a person may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Required notifications and response steps for a confirmed security incident are determined by the facts and the law that applies.
